Bedliners on facebook

"How difficult can installing a bedliner be?" I wondered as I was browsing the internet searching for 1. The bed of my truck experienced started out to seem a tiny less then new and it was way past time to shield the issue, following all that 18 wheeler cost a great deal of difficult earned dollars to purchase, I experienced greater preserve it searching very good a bit longer. Hauling hay for the horses and other farm debris close to in it was not carrying out it any favors.
As I was searching for a good bedliner for the 18 wheeler I arrived across an advertising for a roll on bedliner. Supposedly you could do this oneself. Straightforward installation, just roll it on and let it dry. Yea? I do not think so. I could see it now myself and 3 little ones covered head to toe in some form of black goo, the truck nonetheless pristine besides a enormous glob of goo on the hood and at minimum one call to the vet simply because the goats ate a single of the brushes that experienced the goo on it. Nope, none of that is my concept of a enjoyable afternoon. We did all that a few weeks ago painting the barn anyway. Just in green not black.
The following factor I got here across was a thing that looked a good deal like a black 3 sided bathtub. This was a really slim 1 item plastic shell sort bedliner that you just tossed into the bed of the truck and tacked it down. Much less complicated, no muss, no fuss… No, the factor is way very slender to provide any true protection and the subsequent time I questioned the kids to wash the truck or van I was liable to catch them utilizing it as a slippy slide. It just regarded slippery when wet. Not only that but I picture h2o could get up beneath the flimsy factor and then the mattress I was trying so difficult to protect would have massive rust holes in it. I also suspect my native UPS man would in fact kill me if I made him lug some thing that big out to my location. It has to come in a box large sufficient to pack ..nicely a 18 wheeler base in.
I acquired nearly provided up all desire of finding a sound 18 wheeler bedliner when I arrived across an commercial for the DualLiner. Seeking at the site this 18 wheeler bedliner comes in a five piece kit,(So at minimum UPS guy will not kill me)does not demand painting anything on(no goo on the youngsters) and does not need you to drill any holes to fit it in. It is also thicker then the drop in kinds, and has a rubberized no skid surface to it so stuff does not slip and slid around the mattress. When you are working approximately livestock on a farm getting a no skid truck or van bed is a genuine bonus. You just by no means know when you may have to load a pig or a bunch of fence poles each of which can actually slide close to and scratch up a truck or van. The issue is meant to suit like a glove as well so drinking water and grime do not get caught up beneath it and it has a lifetime guarantee.
I ordered the DualLiner for my truck or van just as my youngest requested me to haul her, her three pals and their bikes out to the library. I hope that UPS man brings me my new bedliner soon.
